Introduction
KASAWARI CARBON CAPTURE & STORAGE (CCS) uses the 415V AC OUTDOOR SWITCHRACK to power up platform day-to-day operation loads. As the existing 415V AC OUTDOOR SWITCHRACK age after 20 years it will require a new replacement for the system.
System Requirement:
To supply a new Low voltage Switch Rack 415V AC Outdoor Switchrack shall be use for outdoor application, frame mounted, certified Ex ‘de’, rated for Zone 1, gas group IIA and temperature class T3. The assemblies shall be designed for continuous operation at full load.
System Design:
To introduce newer technology breaker and motor starter product to replace existing incomer, outgoing and motor starter breakers, provide a solution to fit in the existing platform layout using remove existing, plug and play design method. As this is brown field project, Swift have to also provide a thoughtful design to consider transporting the skid system into the platform where pipelines & structure may be an obstruction during transportation & installation inside the platform. Results and Benefits
Swift have successfully replaced and commissioning the new system in the platforms. There are quite a number of project other than CCS Kasawari platform; Swift have also successfully replaced Barton, F23 Shell platforms project using replace, plug and play method.
